I’m a Calgary artist working primarily in watercolour and acrylic media. The subject matter of most of my recent paintings is still-life, although I still create the occasional landscape. I’ve always been interested in colour and how it affects composition and spatial relationships. In my more recent work I am investigating abstract elements and texture (implied and actual) in relation to the realistic rendering of still-life objects.
