I’m a Calgary artist working primarily in watercolour and acrylic media. I’ve always been interested in colour and how it affects composition and spatial relationships. I like painting in both realist and abstract styles; they have much more in common than they have differences.

Most important for me in visual art is that it is visually engaging. I like to spend time really looking, from far to near. Spending time with a work because I want to look at it then leads me into arriving at a personal meaning for the piece.
